It might seem odd singing Christmas Carols in July but that’s just how the children and adults of St Mary’s Priory Church Choir in Abergavenny spent two days earlier this year.
The results of that recording session is the CD Born is the King of Israel!, being launched at the church on Friday, November 13, at 5pm. It’s a mix of well-loved Christmas Carols, sung by congregations every year, and new and not-so-new choral Christmas music.
